About the Nursery

Tops Lymington Nursery is a 100 place Day Nursery & Pre-School situated in All Saints Church, Lymington. The nursery run several extra-curricular activities including Tops Forest School, cooking school, Boogie Mites, yoga, meditation and much more!

What does the role involve?

• Ensuring all areas of the nursery are clean, tidy, and well presented
• Cleaning toilets, nappy changing areas, and staff areas regularly
• Managing laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding
• Maintaining stock levels of cleaning materials and supplies
• Supporting staff in keeping rooms tidy and safe for children
• Adhering to health and safety and infection control standards at all times

What are we looking for?

• Takes pride in their work and has an eye for detail
• Is reliable, organised, and proactive
• Understands the importance of cleanliness in a childcare setting
• Can work independently as well as part of a team
• Has previous cleaning or housekeeping experience

Important Safeguarding Information
Because this role involves regulated activity with children, all candidates must:

• Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service. If you don’t yet have one, you’ll need to cover the cost.
• Be eligible to work in regulated roles- not on the Children’s Barred List.
• Successfully complete background and reference checks.
